Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are cozy and clean with original windows plus double glazing, but the sink could use some improvement. The service, including housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance, is top-notch. The location provides easy access to various attractions, but unfortunately near the crematorium during our stay. The dining experience with quality ingredients is commendable, especially the fruit preserves. However, the facilities may need a bit of maintenance.
This hotel is conveniently located near the town center and the crematorium we had to visit, with a little harbor nearby and easy access to the South Downs. The spacious lounge area was a plus, but unfortunately, it's not too far from the crematorium we had to visit. The rooms were cozy with daily newspapers in the sink and original windows plus double glazing, although the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Dining with quality ingredients and homemade preserves was delightful, but the price could be more competitive for what's offered.
The hotel is ideally located near the coast, with easy access to Chichester for theatre visits. The rooms feature charming original windows with double glazing, a selection of daily newspapers, and a cozy bed. The service is exceptional, including efficient housekeeping and helpful tour/ticket assistance. The dining experience offers quality ingredients and regional bread. However, there are some minor drawbacks in the pricing. The overall location near the harbor and the South Downs is a definite highlight.
